CCF tea—made from cumin, coriander and fennel—is helpful in achieving balance. Since travel and change of seasons are both disruptive, spring break is the perfect time to test out this helpful remedy.
Yield: 3 servings
½ teaspoon whole cumin seeds
½ teaspoon whole coriander seeds
½ teaspoon whole fennel seeds
3 cups purified water
Boil water. Add the seeds. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, or until water cools to a comfortable drinking temperature. Strain and serve, discarding the spent seeds.

Yield: 6 cups
1 cup unsalted Brazil nuts
1 cup unsalted cashews
1 cup unsalted walnut pieces
1 cup unsalted almonds
1/2 cup hulled sunflower seeds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup dried blueberries
2/3 cup large coconut flakes (optional)
Place ingredients into a Ziploc bag or container with a lid and shake. Keeps best when refrigerated.
